A love letter to the S&P 500

1. Your long term upward bias, giving 12% per year for timeframes longer than our lives, eternal. I shall but love thee better after death.

2. Your resilience in the face of the world wide Banking crisis, nearly recovering all of your losses already.

3. How you are drawn to the Median Line of the bullish pitchfork like two passionate teenagers drawn together.

4. How you continue to make Cup and Handle patterns, pouring out goodness despite all those trying to beat you down showing depth and breadth and height.

5. Your strength when the rest of the Western world is falling apart and relying on you to be strong.

6. Your consistency in presenting yourself, showing persistence to do better even in the your darkest hours.

7. Your ability to share the spotlight, helping even those emerging into the world rise, showing them the way, pulling them higher.

8. Your ability to shake off set backs in things like Copper and places like China.

9. The Symmetry of your moves, bringing the Relative Strength Index (RSI), Moving Average Convergence Divergence indicator (MACD) and price all higher in line.

10. How even with your close up quirks, when people view you from a far they are drawn to you.
