Time for Some Grocery Shopping

Whether you need to pick up a few things while filling up the tank, some fresh food for dinner, or a full fledged shopping trip with healthy foods, there is a grocery stock for you for a quick meal. Take a look.

Susser Holdings, $SUSS

Susser Holdings, $SUSS, has been trending higher in a rising channel since mid September. It is now breaking over the channel higher to new all time highs with the support of a rising and Bullish Relative Strength Index (RSI) and a Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator that has crossed to positive. Also the Bollinger bands are opening higher to all this convenience store operator to move higher. The May high at 30.50 can be used as a stop.

Fresh Market, $TFM

Fresh Market, $TFM, has also been trending higher, this time since December, with trend line support highlighted. It is consolidating in a bull flag and a break over the top is the trigger for a long entry against a stop at the bottom of the flag. The RSI is bullish with a MACD that is positive but fading.

Whole Foods Markets, $WFM

Whole Foods Markets, $WFM, has been in a rising wedge since July, nearly a year. It is at resistance at the top in May and over that has room to the top of the wedge. The rising RSI and the MACD that has moved back positive, both support more upside.

Both Susser, $SUSS, and Fresh Market, $TFM, are a bit extended in their latest moves higher so if you can only choose one I would look at Whole Foods Markets, $WFM, first and set an alert for a pullback on the other two.
