Moving to the next level in Activision Blizzard

When I was a kid I was never in the house except when I was eating or sleeping. We were always running around the neighborhood playing one game of the other. Baseball, kick the can, tag, it did not matter as long as we were outside.

Now that I have kids I see the times have changed. My kids still go outside and play but they are not dying to do it the second they get home from school. Instead my son wants to live stream his roller coaster building game over Twitch or build me an app for my business, while my daughter adds to her Spotify play list while watching him stream. She is also a World Record Holder in Subway Surfer.

Armed with some knowledge of the gaming world now I feel confident that Activision Blizzard is about to move up to the next level. Not from their business model or the popularity of their games directly, but through their stock price.

The chart above shows how Activision Blizzard ($ATVI) stock has star stepped higher, like moving up to a new level. The recent market sell off carried it lower than the last several lows, but it has rebounded and is back at the top of the step.

The RSI is in the bullish zone and rising and the MACD has just crossed up. These support more upside. So does the Bollinger Bands® opening higher. Look for a break over 30 to participate in a move to the next level.
