This week marks 5 years of posting my analysis, trading plans, executions, insights and stupidity on Stocktwits. Wow that is a long time, and a lot has changed with Stocktwits, mostly for the better. Most importantly the change from red to blue recently (JK). To celebrate this milestone I have a contest for you. I have asked my partners Drew, Bronwyn and wife Christine to randomly generate a 3 letter ‘ticker’ and the first one that was a real stock, with volume, market cap over $100 million and options, $DBC, is shown below. I have posted a daily candlestick chart with no indicators at all.
Contest: Provide your best trade idea for this stock. Winner gets a signed copy of my book.
Entry must:
1. Define your timeframe (day trade, swing, position, investment).
2. Discuss your analysis, including risk management.
3. Provide a visual of your trade idea and analysis.
Rules:
1. You can change timeframes on the chart if you like, does not have to use daily chart.
2. Entries must be received by kickoff of the Browns vs Steelers game Sunday September 7th at 1pm EDT. I will be reviewing the submissions during the game until Johnny Football gets put in.
3. You must submit to greg@dragonflycap.com and include your name. Winner will be required to then send address for prize delivery.
4. Contest is open to everyone in the world, but prize can only be delivered to a US address.
5. Employees of Dragonfly Capital and Presidium Capital are eligible to win, but you wont.
6. I have sole discretion in selecting the winner and may choose multiple winners, but there will be at least 1.
