Charts/Markets/Business/Economy You Might Not See Otherwise
You will be flooded by images of the World Trade Center collapse and the burning Pentagon this weekend as we mark the passing of 10 years since the terrorist attacks. I will let the media deal with then. This picture is from a crater in Shanksville, Pennsylvania caused by the crash of Flight 93 thought to be targeting the White House or the Capitol Building. The story goes that several heroes on this flight overpowered terrorists who either themselves or forced by passengers, then crashed into a field in rural Pennsylvania. Take a moment and remember the victims and their families this weekend. But don’t forget these heroes. I do not infer that they are more or less important than other victims of the attacks, but their story is an anthem for America. This is what America is about, fighting for freedom no matter your stature, position or role. Would you do the same? I trust that all of you would. Spend an extra minute thinking on these heroes.
