Blogiversary Request

Three years ago this weekend the Dragonfly Capital blog began. I finally got enraged enough by the media to start to share my views with Charts Still Do and Have Always Mattered. It was clear to me that many who were professing to be experts on the market did not know what they were talking about and it was time to start sharing some truth. This journey continues and has led to a great following. I thank all of you for that. Today is not about me though.

Today is a day to be thankful for other things. Our Freedom, safety and security in particular. And most importantly to remember those that have served our country to allow us to lead the lives we do in this environment. No matter what your politics, views and opinions about ongoing conflicts and our country’s participation, please take today to understand and realize that the those who sacrifice their livelihood and stand in harm’s way, will continue to do it for you both when you agree and disagree with the political motives. These special people make your life better. Take today to make their live’s better. Shake their hands. Say thank you. Buy them a beer or a hamburger. Write a letter to them overseas. Do something to show them you care, you know they are out there and you appreciate it.
